When he was on stage, Will Walls had been described as “a gutsy, cutting-edge comedian who wins laughs by touching on the truths.” One such truth is a joke he used to say years ago starting with his premise posed as a question: “The strength of a sound business portfolio is what? If you said diversification of assets you’d be correct. Why is it that we all understand this when it comes to money,  but we forget the  hell out of that when it comes to people.” While people laughed at the joke, there was truth to the statement that left an unsettling feeling.

After working in the entertainment industry as a representative for a production company and meeting with various D&I officers, he knew what needed to change. Will decided to use his dynamic, expressive style to change the narrative of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, a space he has known for more than twenty years. He applies his experience as a business development coach and sales trainer to assess the environment, use effective language in business, and develop strategies that generate results.  

Walls’ commitment stems from wanting to see small business owners and entrepreneurs to big business make the necessary changes that will support their financial sustainability. Bringing everyone’s diverse experience and perspectives to the table produce greater opportunities to yield a substantial economic impact.
