A clear example is the role of diversification in investment portfolios, where the strength of any sound portfolio lies in a diverse mix of assets. This same principle can be applied to people: diversity strengthens teams and organizations in measurable ways. Shifting the conversation away from moral obligation and toward strategic value invites a practical focus on the tangible benefits of diversification. This raises the question: who truly benefits from framing diversity as merely a moral responsibility?
